W367xH567 April 17th Our annual BluesFest fundraiser for Variety - The Children's Charity of Wisconsin

This year, we are challenged to raise $3,000.00 which will allow us to purchase a Convaid stroller, a lightweight and portable push chair that can fold like an "Umbrella stroller," and can be customized with comfort and safety features for an individual disabled child's needs. Insurance does not cover the expense of these strollers. That's where Variety steps in and you can help out.

Besides attending the event, consider an individual sponsorship, or a sponsorship by your employer. You will find details on the sponsorship form.

Marlys Maciona of our chapter's Good Works Committee is scheduled for an interview about the event on WMSE Friday, April 10, 2009 at 4:00 p.m.. John Primer and the Real Deal Blues Band will be on WMSE at 4:30 p.m. the day of the event.
