Risk Management Courses  (MORNING 4 CE credits)

Emerging Issues: Looking Beyond the Horizon - Registration opens at 7:30am, class runs 8:00am-12:00pm.

This program will examine risks that insurance professionals will need to face due to technology; environmental change; and scientific discovery. In order to best serve the consuming public, insurance must respond to new and daring issues. Underwriters will need to be aware of the emerging risk exposures in order to develop products that will respond to the ever change risk landscape. Producers and agents will require additional skills to assist their clients in analyzing new and changing risk exposures. Claims professionals will be required to understand how the emerging risks can lead to injury and damage; how coverage is applied to the occurrence; and how to resolve issues that arise once a claim has been reported.

Ethics Courses  (AFTERNOON 3 CE Credits)

Everyday Ethics for the Insurance Professional - Registration opens at 12:30pm, class runs 1:00pm-4:00pm.

Ethical issues arise on a daily basis. They can be large or small, personal or group based. In this course, we will explore ethical dilemmas that insurance professionals regularly face and related actions that can be taken, as well as how those actions affect other stakeholders.
